What this site is all about!

Our aim is to show you something of Australia as demonstrated by a range of artists using different media. So, here, you will meet photographers, painters and others and, hopefully, come to share and appreciate their visions of Australia.
Recently, we have moved from Cairns, Tropical North Queensland to Brisbane, the state capital, but we intend to show you a far wider picture than just the local scene.

Since opening, the gallery has shown more than 300 exhibitions with an average of 30 per year, including 5 which have been curated and toured nationally by the gallery. Over 65% of exhibitions offered an intriguing insight into the social heritage and culture of Far North Queensland.
